Recipe, Synchro, and BREAK!

WHEW! Made it through the first quarter of school now what am I going to do with the other 3? Or has it as-really been two? I am so out of school I basically just show up...

Well, Midge here is the recipe for those pumpkin doughnuts!

4 1/2 cups of sifted flour

3/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp nutmeg

1 egg slightly beaten

1/2 tsp of vanilla

4 tsp of baking powder
1 cup of sugar

1 1/4 cup of milk

2 Tsp. of butter or margarine

Stir dry ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well; add flour mixture stirring only until blended. Roll on well floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut doughnuts. Fry in deep hot oil ( 350 F.) Until first cracks appears(or a medium brown) or how ever you like it! Turn over and do the same thing. Drain on paper towels. Dust with cinnamon sugar, or powder sugar if desired:) Yields about 2 dozen
